Airflow Containment - The Road to Data Center Efficiency

May 17, 2010

BICSI News - Airflow ContainmentIf you have received your May/June issue of BICSI News, take a look at pages 14-18 for a CPI article titled: "Airflow Containment: The Road to Data Center Efficiency". If you don't get BICSI News, check it out in BICSI's online version of the magazine.

The article discusses how ducting equipment exhaust is a much simpler way to capture return air compared with enclosing the entire row and how this method is regarded as the most contained of all the solutions.

The article was written by CPI's Chris Jaggers and Travis North. Both of these gentlemen come to CPI from Dell Computers and bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to our company. Jaggers is our director of design engineering and North is our thermal design manager and an expert in the field of single-phase and two-phase heat transfer in the design of electromechanical systems.
