Sometimes all you need is one number to get the conversation started, or to help you make a final decision about that new project.
For example, when you have a wide selection of vertical or horizontal cable managers, cable management rings, or cable runway products, getting to a cable fill number can be a drawn-out process.
But now, thanks to Chatsworth Products’ (CPI) new Mobile App Suite, you can calculate your cable fill quickly in only two easy steps:
Step 1: Simply enter your recommended fill ratio on the first screen.
Step 2: On the second screen, make a selection based on your application -- CPI’s vertical cable managers, KoldLok® Raised Floor Grommets, wire mesh tray products, etc. – or, part number.
Recommended cable fill and maximum cable fill results will appear for each outside diameter values.
“Selecting the right cable manager can be challenging because the amount of cable a manager can hold depends on the size of the cable. This app tool makes it easy, as it calculates the number of cables based on cable diameter, so you pick the right manager every time.” explains Tom Bradley, RCDD, Senior Product Information Specialist at CPI.
Once you have selected the product and received your cable fill, you then have the option to email your results to yourself or your customer, CPI’s Technical Support, or Distributor for ordering or verification.
